Crown Financial Study
The Crown Financial Study is a life-changing study that everyone should experience regardless of his or her financial status. John and Kristi Burgess, will lead the class.
What is Crown Financial Ministries?
Crown Financial Ministries is an interdenominational ministry that uses a remarkably effective small group study to train adults to practically apply the financial principles from God’s Word. The small group study is a 10-week in-depth study of what Scripture teaches about money and possessions. To learn more, go to www.crown.org or call 1-800-722-1976.
What are the requirements?
Approximately 2 hours of preparation are required prior to class each week. A student must attend at least eight of the 10 class sessions to graduate successfully.
The study is very practical. Each time you learn a principle, you will apply what you have learned. For example, you will complete a debt repayment schedule and start a budget.
No one at any time will be asked to expose their financial situation.
How much do materials cost?
$50 for an individual; $60 for a couple. Payment is due when you receive your books. Students receive a Student Manual, the Practical Application Workbook, and a copy of the book, Your Money Counts.
When?
The orientation class will be Sunday, August 27, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Weekly meetings will be held 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm each Sunday beginning September 10 for 10 sessions. Class sizes are limited, so please contact Jennifer Hargrove, John Burgess, or sign up in the communications center . Please contact the church office (770-388-7438) if you will need child care for your younger children.
